The Gracetown Grommets is a popular and historical junior surfing event held in an idyllic location. It is held in memory of the nine lives lost in the Gracetown Tragedy on the 27th Sep 1996.
In its 16th year the event is presented by the Margaret River Boardriders Club alongside Cowaramup BAY Boardriders Club. Gracetown Grommets is a junior surfing event for kids aged 16 years and younger.
The event is designed to provide an opportunity for junior boardriders club members to compete at an amateur level against rival boardriders clubs members and statewide competitors.
